For those of you who do not design skins, I have another contest that is also starting now. I could have started it in November, but really, it can start now. Because November and December tend to be busy months for people, this contest will run for the rest of 2010. (I'll make this an announcement once the skinning contest is over.)
The winner of this contest will also become a featured site.
You must be a member of the directory in order to participate.
Advertising Contest Rules -
1.) You may advertise on any site that I have not already advertised on. Please check to see whether I have already advertised on that site.
2.) It is recommended that you read the site's rules to determine what the site rating is.
3.) Please also read the site's advertising rules.
4.) Please use the following ads when advertising instead of the ads that are listed on the ads page. I will only advertise on sites that advertise on my roleplaying site. Therefore, there are a couple lines in those ads that will not apply to the sites you advertise on, and which could confuse people.

5.) As you can see, there are different ads for different board. You must be aware of what type of board you are on. If you are on a proboards board, use the proboards ad. If you are on InvisionFree, then use that ad, if you are on Zetaboards, then use that one, etc. If the type is not specifically listed here, try to use the Invision Free ad first. That one works on a lot of different types of sites. If that doesn't work, then try one of the bottom ads after Zetaboards. You should always preview an ad before posting it.
6.) Points will be awarded as follows:
1 point for advertising on an unacceptable ad for the directory. (Something over PG-13).
2 points for advertising on a site that is PG-13 or under, but that contains R rated threads or R rated password protected words.
5 points for advertising on a site that meets the directory requirements & that I have not already advertised the directory on. If I have already advertised for the directory on that site, 0 points will be awarded.
5 extra credit points for advertising for the Whoniverse-rp site. Please note that I do heavily advertise for this site, so make sure that you check to see whether or not I have advertised Whoniverse-rp on that site already. Points will only be awarded if I have NOT already advertised Whoniverse-rp on it.

7.) When advertising, use Site Directory for Whoniverse-rp for the directory site when it asks for a title for the thread. When advertising for Whoniverse-rp, then use Whoniverse-rp as the title. For the your name, you must use your name on the directory site.
8.) Since it would be impossible for me to know whether or not you advertise on a certain site, you must either PM me or post in THIS thread that you have advertised on a specific site. You must give the URL of the site(s) that you advertise on at the end of every day that you advertise. If you do not advertise on a given day, then don't post. You don't need to tell me. I just want to know if you HAVE posted an ad somewhere, and where that has been. In order to do that, fill out this form:
You may either fill out one form every time that you advertise, or at the end of every day that you advertise. I will accept both. I will keep track of your points when I reply to your thread. I will edit your post with the total points to date.
If you do not fill out this form, I have no way of knowing that you advertised on a given site. You will therefore not get credit for advertising on it until you fill out the form. As long as you don't lose track of where you advertised, you can even fill out the form later...but you won't be awarded points until you DO fill out the form. The sooner the better, since it's less likely that you'll forget if you do it immediately.

Whoniverse-rp is a massive Doctor Who RP, covering the entire life of the Doctor. There are individual boards for each Doctor, a Torchwood Board, a Sarah Jane Adventures Board, a Board featuring the Doctor's Parents and Gallifrey, a Board covering the Academy days of the Doctor & Master, and a Time War Board.
Multiple RP's and plots are available in all of the boards.
The board is appropriate for people of all ages. Adult content is not allowed.
Canons and Original Characters are both accepted.

When advertising for Whoniverse-rp, then use Whoniverse-rp as the title. For the your name, you must use your name on the directory site.
8.) Since it would be impossible for me to know whether or not you advertise on a certain site, you must either PM me or post in THIS thread that you have advertised on a specific site. You must give the URL of the site(s) that you advertise on at the end of every day that you advertise. If you do not advertise on a given day, then don't post. You don't need to tell me. I just want to know if you HAVE posted an ad somewhere, and where that has been. In order to do that, fill out this form:
You may either fill out one form every time that you advertise, or at the end of every day that you advertise. I will accept both. I will keep track of your points when I reply to your thread. I will edit your post with the total points to date.

If you do not fill out this form, I have no way of knowing that you advertised on a given site. You will therefore not get credit for advertising on it until you fill out the form. As long as you don't lose track of where you advertised, you can even fill out the form later...but you won't be awarded points until you DO fill out the form. The sooner the better, since it's less likely that you'll forget if you do it immediately.
